We had to add a few custom fonts today in our BIP reports in OBIEE 11G. Below I have documented the steps involved in gettin gthe new fonts installed.
On the OBIEE Server, locate the OBI_HOME/common/fonts and copy the .ttf files. Once you place the files here you will now be able to see the files in BIP. To check the new fonts are available login to BIP
http://servername:9804/xmlpserver , click administration -->Font Mapping under Runtime configuration -->Font Mappings --> Add fonts (RTF or PDF)
